Green Horizon Summit @COP26

2 November 2021 @ 9:00 am - 11 November 2021 @ 5:00 pm

2-5 November & 11 November 2021 | Glasgow @COP26

The Green Finance Institute is partnering with The City London Corporation to co-host the Green Horizon Summit @COP26, a hybrid platform to mobilize private finance in the transition to net zero.

This builds on the highly successful Green Horizon Summit we held in November 2020, which brought together 105 global leaders, 3,500 attendees and 335,000 views.

During the months leading up to COP26, and during the conference in Glasgow in November, GHS@COP26 will bring together leaders from across green finance globally as well as influencers and decision-makers from all the key stakeholder groups.

Our content will focus on tackling key barriers to mobilizing capital; how to finance transition and growth, how to build a global green finance playbook, how to price carbon and nature, and how to meet – and beat – the $100 billion international climate finance challenge. These are all key challenges in achieving the goals of the Paris Agreement and delivering a resilient, net zero economy.

We will also focus on key sectors of the real economy – including the energy transition, the built environment, transport and nature as well as adaptation and resilience – and drill down into the detail at the sub-sector level to build an agenda that delivers ambitious, relevant and pragmatic dialogue.

To get involved, contact us, or click here to sign up to our Green Horizon community.
